With James Starks suffering a season-ending shoulder injury, Jeff has picked up Derrick Washington of Missouri to fill his spot on the roster. Starks goes back into the pool of available players (although in this case, I wouldn't advise picking him up).
Since games don't start until next Thursday, I'll hold off on posting new rosters until Wednesday. At that point I'll start posting updated rosters the day before games begin each week.
Also, I had an unusual request: One of the guys who was interested in joining the league didn't get the draft info until it was too late, but he still wanted to participate. He agreed to pick a team from the players who hadn't been drafted, so I've got his roster and let's welcome him to the league. His name is Chris, and I'm pretty sure his team of choice would be our local Sun Devils (local for half of us, anyway).
Here's his team:
QB-Jeremiah Masoli, Oregon
QB-Jake Locker, Washington
RB-Chris Brown, Oklahoma
RB-Toby Gerhart, Stanford
RB-Ben Tate, Auburn
WR-Brandon LaFell, LSU
WR-A.J. Green, Georgia
WR-Eric Decker, Minnesota
D-Arizona State
I will also include Chris' team in Wednesday's roster update. Shoot me an email if you have any questions about transactions, scoring or anything else that isn't clear. Thanks.

Here we go ...
Welcome to our league website!
The draft will start at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, August 23. I will draw the names of all owners and post the order at that time, and at that point the draft will begin.
We will use a"snake" order (the owner who picks first in the first round picks last in the second round and vice versa), and you will have one minute for each pick.
If you don't think you'll be able to participate in the draft, please send me a list of players ranked by position and by overall preference (make sure you have enough players listed so that if 26 receivers have already been drafted when you pick in the last round, there's still someone on your list to choose from). My email is shorts723@yahoo.com.
The rosters will consist of the following:
One non-injury roster move (waiver pickup/release) is allowed each week. All moves must be submitted by midnight the day before your team’s first game that week. (Example: You wish to pick up a Louisville player, and Louisville plays Thursday night. You must submit the request for that player by Wednesday at midnight.) In the event that a player is expected to miss at least one game due to injury, an additional move is allowed in order to replace the injured player. The injured player must be released. Acquisitions are first-come, first-serve and must be submitted to me by email. No trades are allowed.
If there's anything else that I haven't explained or that isn't clear, please send me an email. Thanks and good luck!
Oh, and if anyone has way too much time on their hands and wants to come up with a league logo or banner for the website, let me know.
