Final stats and standings
Alright guys, I finally got my internet back (yay) and have updated the final numbers. There was only roster move for the final week: Dave picked up Navy QB Ricky Dobbs and dropped UAB QB Joe Webb. This was included in the statistics below.
Here we go:
BOB
JEFF
JUSTIN
ZACH
ANDREW
DAVE
MATT
CHRIS
STANDINGS
1. Dave (58)
2. Jeff (56)
3. Matt (50)
4. Zach (38)
5. Justin (36)
6. Bob (33)
7. Andrew (28)
8. Chris (27)
Analysis: For the second year in a row, this hairless Irish guy is our champion:
Jeff seemed to be in control for much of the year, but a couple late pickups by Dave -- Donald Buckram and Joe Webb, in particular -- swung things in his favor and he held on for the title. Matt made a late run but could never get into the top two. Chris was obviously hamstrung by joining late -- he started strong but was a little light on production everywhere except running back. Bob, Andrew and Justin were all done in by a lack of production from the QB spot early in the year, although Justin rallied nicely to pull himself up into the top five after a rough start.
One scoring note: When I was double-checking the stats, I discovered a typo in Bob's defensive numbers that caused his yards per game to go up slightly, which dropped him behind Dave and Jeff in that category. Everything should be correct now; if you see anything wrong, please let me know ASAP.
I'm hoping to keep the league going in the future, so send me an email at shorts723@yahoo.com if you're interested in playing again next year. I'll hang onto everybody's contact info and make sure you get an invite when I'm putting things together. I'm really hoping I can find a site to host everything so we don't run into problems like my stupid internet going out, but we'll see what happens.
Congratulations, Dave, and thanks to everybody else for playing!

Week 15 update
Hey guys, I just wanted to let everybody know that the stats will unfortunately be delayed a couple more days. My internet has been completely down since Friday (I'm posting this from work right now), and it won't be back up until probably Thursday.
I would update everything at work, but I don't have the capability to transfer the stats sheet from home. In other words, I have the stats in one place (with no internet) and the internet in another place (with no stats).
I apologize, and I will be posting the updated stats and rosters ASAP.

Week 14 stats and standings
Here are the up-to-date numbers:
BOB
JEFF
JUSTIN
ZACH
ANDREW
DAVE
MATT
CHRIS
STANDINGS
1. Dave (57)
2. Jeff (55)
3. Matt (50)
4. Zach (39)
5. Justin (38)
6. Bob (35)
7. Andrew (29)
8. Chris (24)
Analysis: Dave got a great week from his running backs, adding two points to his total and increasing his lead over Jeff from one point to two. Matt remained at 50 points overall and is still technically in contention, but it seems to be down to Dave and Jeff.
There are two weeks of games left -- about 20 this coming weekend and just one (Army-Navy) the following Saturday -- but remember that conference championship games do NOT count toward our totals. I've had a couple people ask when is "too soon" to put in a roster move, and although I've never set a specific cutoff time, I think I should do so just in case there are any player disputes. I'll begin accepting roster changes at noon each Sunday (assuming that the player you're trying to replace and the one you're picking up have already played that week), and I'll go by email timestamp so there's no debate.
As always, email me at shorts723@yahoo.com if anything looks incorrect or if you'd like to make a roster change.
